Louise Young
Head Coach
Louise is a fully qualified NISA Level 2 figure skating coach and has been coaching since 2008. Having been both a skater and a coach at the different ice rinks across Ayrshire, Louise has gained lots of valuable experience and skills. Louise was also a member of Ayr Figure Skating Club growing up.
In her four years at Ayr Figure Skating Club Louise has coached skaters through from learn to skate up to British Championship level and has had skaters on the British Ice Skating Young Stars Development Squad. She has also mentored coaches through their qualifications.
Elise Forrest
Club Coach
Aims to bring out the best that each individual skater can be and achieve whilst maintaining their enjoyment and love for the sport. She has trained a number of skaters to NISA level 10 standard that have gone on to become professional show skaters. She has also mentored pupils to achieve their Qualification as a NISA Level 2 Coach.
Elise was also a Scottish Intermediate Champion, 8 x British Masters Ladies Adult Champion and competed internationally.
Sarah Shedden
Club Coach
Sarah is our newest edition to the coaching team at Ayr Figure Skating Club. Sarah has been part of our Skate Uk team for three years now and we are excited to have her in the main club. Sarah is a fully qualified Level Two British Ice Skating Coach and is also first aid qualified.
Natalie Cunningham-Dallas
Club Coach
Natalie is a British Ice Skating Level Two Coach who competed at the highest level. She is a former British Novice Champion & Scottish Champion. Natalie also has over 12 years experience in Professional show skating.
Natalie has coached skaters right up to level ten and has had many successes at Championship level events as well as skaters on the British Development Squad for both talent and perfomance.
Amanda Corbett
Skate UK Coach
Amanda is an NCCP Level 2 qualified coach and has attained level 10 fields. Amanda skated competitively for 10 years and participated in skating schools hosted by Kathy Casey, Annie Shelter, Brian Orser and Janet Champion. She has also attended courses to develop her coaching knowledge including the recent IJS seminar.
